Religious Court Judge Faces Ethics Tribunal for Sexual Abuse
jpnn.com - JAKARTA – Religious court chief Kuala Tungal, Jambi, Erwin Effendi, allegedly, has sexually abused his contract employee identified only as NA. She claimed that Erwin had forcibly kissed, hugged and groped her on many occasions. Furthermore, the fifty-one-year-old judge also had nasty habit of looking at his female assistant’s panties.
Erwin had various schemes to lure his young assistant into his hideous traps. He often asked her to make some drink, or deliberately made her clean his workplace.
“The accused had deliberately ‘remodel’ his workplace layout, such as moving the sofa,” said Abbas Said, Chief of the Supreme Court’s Ethics Council (MKH) who chaired the ethics tribunal of Erwin case in the Supreme Court, Jakarta on Wednesday, November 18.
This kind of action had been done for 10 times. He had deliberately moved his sofa position so that his lewd behavior could not be seen from outside.
“The accused had also threatened to dismiss the victim, so she could not resist further,” Abbas added. Because of his lewd behavior, Erwin was to be dismissed from his job.
The ethics tribunal led by Judicial Commission Deputy Abbas Said was made up of Judicial Commissioners; Imam Anshori Saleh, Ibrahim and Eman Suparman. The Supreme Court delegates three of its supreme judges; Eddy Army, Purwosusilo and Amran Suadi.
The ethics tribunal also revealed that Erwin had accused NA of having done sexual activity and that she was no longer a virgin. Erwin had also threatened to send her off for a virginity test only to scare her. (flo/apa/jpnn)
