JAKARTA - Similar to its last five years, AXIS Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival 2010 will also showcase the sparkling talents of Indonesian and international artists. Due to perform, among which, are Tohpati, Bubi Chen, Indro Hardjodikoro, Oele Pattiselanno.

Juga Jeffrey Tahalele, Jakarta Broadway Team, Andre Hehanusa, Ligro Trio, Idang Rasjidi, Syaharani, Elfa?s Bossas, Aksan dan Titi Sjuman, RAN, Barry Likumahuwa, Soulvibe, Dewa Budjana, Gugun Blues Shelter, Opustre Soul Big Band, Lala Suwages, Ecoutez, Notturno and talented young pianist David Manuhutu.

Equally enthralling and diverse international musicians will also showcase their skills. Serious jazz twists will be performed by renowned jazz musicians such as Hubert Laws, Randy Brecker and Bill Evans accompanied by Steve Lukather (guitarist of Toto), renowned blues guitarist Robben Ford and Darry Jones (bassist of The Rolling Stones).

Kemudian rencananya ada George Duke, Christian McBride, David Murray, Carl Allen, Kurt Rosenwinkel and Roy Hargrove. The world's best jazz vocal group The Manhattan Transfer is due to return for the second year, due to perform standards with the big band, and also a session where they perform pieces by jazz maestro Chick Corea.
